Grass-reared Brahman and Charbray Bulls

The selling season of our paddock reared Brahman and Charbray bulls is well underway and we have welcomed many new and returning clients to our Glenleigh Bull Depot. The bulls have been vet checked and semen tested by Stacey at Monto Vet Services and despite the onslaught from a month of ‘below zero’ temperatures and heavy frosts, the scrub paddock where the bulls run, is holding well with good feed. Boogal bulls are not fed any grain and are guaranteed to keep on growing out in the paddock, avoiding the need to be ‘let down’ once in their new ‘home’. Our brahman sale bulls are sired by Lancefield, Brahrock, Boogal and Glengarry bloodlines over our fertile Boogal breeders. Charbray bulls are sired by Clare, Kandanga and Palgrove sires over Boogal females As usual, clients have been impressed with the quiet temperament of this years offering. Clients also enjoy the lack of pressure by avoiding the stress of an auction system and appreciate the opportunity to buy the bull of their choice without competition. Boogal bulls are used in our own commercial herd, allowing us to monitor their ongoing development and the progeny produced.
