With the La Nina weather patterns still active in our area, we continue to enjoy a good season, despite receiving just 9mm in a very HOT February.

Summer Season is always busy with the last of the calves on the ground before Christmas, branding rounds completed, DNA samples sent away,paddock rotations underway and Paddock Sale bull vaccinations and the recording of 400 day weights all completed. With the promise of rain after Christmas, Lance has been busy with the continued renovation of the paddocks over at recently purchased scrub block “Ellbank’….and of course, general maintenance of roads, fences and waters continue alongside.

Our cohort of bulls for sale this year is looking good having enjoyed the exceptional pastures over at “Glenleigh Bull Depot” for the year. As usual, we are firm in the belief that our Sale bulls are reared purely on grass . Our focus remains on Female Fertility, Natural good temperament , Breedplan Indexes ,Days to Calving and an ongoing commitment to increasing the number of Polled genetics in the herd without compromising strength and sire apppeal.

Over the next weeks, our bulls will be vet tested for soundness and semen fertility and we look forward to our clients, old and new, to visit and check out the bulls and of course, our breeder paddocks.
