The season in January has continued the upward trend started in December with another 77mms of rain falling for the month………. A great start to the year and the paddocks have responded accordingly.
After a few days at the Sunshine Coast , it was back to “work” with pre-booked cows to get ready for the abatoir, roads to be slashed, hay to be carted and the second round of branding to be completed. In amongst this , work continued on the construction of the new yards up in the steer paddocks.

Down in the breeder paddocks in early January, the calves are beginning to take on some bloom and look very contented with life !

It was back to the second round of branding in mid January – once again under grey skies.
